Born on the Anguna Archipelago far to the south of Thavnair, Luwalhati Dalisay came to Eorzea with a dream. That dream was to someday be able to return to her homeland by restoring her lost honor and thus undoing her banishment. Barring that, she also likes fishing and wants to help those who also share a love of angling.Luwalhati is always happy to answer any questions regarding gear or give advise if you're after a particular fish. While she's also on her own learning journey to get to know the waters of Eorzea and Othard, she is more than willing to share what she's learned so far.

Ever the lover of food, Senkyo has learned how to make different types of soups and stews throughout her long life. What counts as a soup or stew may be put into question depending on the ingredients, but she has guaranteed that all her offerings at Stewpendous are safe for mortal consumption. Beyond that, Senkyo doesn't only offer soup but a sympathetic ear and sage advice drawn from years of experience.Due to recent safety concerns, none of the stews or soups offered by Senkyo utilize lemons. If you like lemons, however, Senkyo will more than likely have something that will still satisfy even without the lemons.

&. guidelines

  • This is an 18+ SFW RP venue. Any public NSFW conduct will result in being barred from the premises for 10 days. Being flirty and a little naughty is fine but if it's getting heated then please move to party chat/tells. We understand accidents can happen, so they will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Treat this place like any public place. Respect the space, and be conducive to the environment it is trying to foster. Should your conduct start getting out of hand, you will be warned via tell once. Continue the disruptive behavior, and you will be barred from the premises for next two openings for the first time and will escalated to a permanent barring if continued.

  • Both the Soup and Fishing Supply Store have a no-weapons policy. Please stow all weapons and put away your minions - thank you!

  • This venue is pretty lore compliant(ish). Just a regular combination fish and soup store with regular(ish) folk. No fae shenanigans here.

RODS AND REELS.

Hati's stocks a variety of rods and reels ranging from entry level all the way up to more advanced gear meant for the most challenging of catches. Have a conversation with Luwalhati the both of you can pinpoint the exact gear for your needs.

OTHER GEAR.

Fishing isn't just about the main tackle, you also need other stuff. Hati's stocks a number of comfortable collapsible chairs that you can bring with your fishing trips. We also offer gear such as waders for fly fishing. Looking for nick nacks? We have portable grills, drink flasks, and more!

BAIT AND LURES.

Not only do we stock different kinds of bait, we also know where they work best. Please don't hesitate to ask Luwalhati about which bait would work best for what you are chasing. Whether it's for fresh water or salt, live or lure, we'll have something that'll get you that bite.

THE KIT.

Are you at the beginning of your angling journey and not quite sure where to start? The Kit is probably what you should be gunning for. A comprehensive bundle consisting of everything you need to get out there and start fishing. This includes a fishing rod, lures, and bait that work best in more beginner friendly fishing holes.

CUSTOM CATCH.

Looking for something in particular? The Custom Catch package has Luwalhati taking you to the location of your specific quarry. The two of you will then spend a few bells together as she tries to catch what you're looking for while also teaching you how to attempt it in the future. Teach a man to fish and he'll be chuffed about it or however that saying goes.

OCEAN GUIDE.

Turn Luwalhati's unhealthy addiction to ocean fishing to your advantage. The Ocean Guide package will have you and Luwalhati boarding the Endeavor in Limsa Lominsa in search of glory in the high seas. The trip includes a comprehensive step by step guide on which baits to bring and when to use them. Luwalhati will also provide drink and snacks to make sure everyone is having a neat time. Make your friends envious of the oddly inedible looking spectral fish you bring home.

THE GRAND JOURNEY.

Our most adventurous package, the Grand Journey will have you and Luwalhati traveling to a few specific locations in the star in search of elusive fish. This package includes a detailed trip itinerary with Luwalhati serving as your guide. The specific bait required for each leg of the journey will also be provided.

GROUP DISCOUNTS.

Good fishing is enhanced all the more with good company. Luwalhati offers a discount for groups trips! Bring upwards to six of your friends on a fishing trip to remember.

[ Luwalhati's trips can be done in two ways. Book a trip and upon next opening both you and Luwalhati will roll 20 and the number will determine the results of the trip which you can then RP out. The option to schedule an actual fishing trip with Luwalhati is also available. Just mention which you would prefer in /tell ]

Stewpendous

  • Head Empty Poiton - Moonshine designed for folk who do not enjoy the burn. This moonshine carries it's orange and vanilla flavor well. Dangerous in it's own right as you can't taste the alcohol. 25 Proof.

  • Sangria de Aleacion - A base tea of hibiscus layered with orange, lime, lemon, and strawberries, but made unique by the addition of cobalt and molybdenum dust. The result could taste like a summer wine, albeit one with no alcohol and a metallic aftertaste. Most customers are advised to not have too much of this at a time.

  • Punched-Punch - A fruitful punch made from ingredients from around the realm and a handful of powerful gemsaps. You'll feel strong enough to fight the realm itself. Remember though, the effects are temporary.

  • Mini Volcano Cake - A tiny chocolate volcano shaped bundt cake with a hole in the center. Comes with a small red orb that melts when contacting the chocolatey center, spilling reddish chocolate from the within. Spicy and Spiciest varieties available as well.

  • Ube Tiramisu - An interesting take on classic tiramisu thought up after a rather harrowing trip to Anguna. Made from an in house ube jam, savory cheese and fluffy Broas. No alcohol or coffee in this Tiramisu however. Enjoy the the combination of cheese and Ube and how decidedly purple it is.

  • Wonderous Thread - Crystalline sugar thread made by accident while snacking over a hot alembic. This sugary thread carries whatever flavor you can dream up and fits through the eye of a needle. Available in Apple, Banana, Grape, Lime, Melon, Pineapple, Orange, and Fruit Crunch.

Dishes from the head chef's homeland?

  • Bacon and Cabbage: A staple of bacon (back bacon) boiled with cabbage and potatoes.

  • Barmbrack: A traditional sweet bread with dried fruit.

  • Boxty (Arán Bocht-Tí): A traditional potato pancake made from grated raw potatoes and mashed potatoes, usually fried.

  • Champ: Mashed potatoes mixed with scallions (spring onions), butter, and milk.

  • Colcannon (Cál Ceannann): Creamy mashed potatoes blended with kale or cabbage and butter.

  • Seafood Chowder: Rich soup featuring locally sourced fish and shellfish, popular in coastal areas.

  • Soda Bread: A dense, quick bread made using baking soda instead of yeast, often served with butter.

  • Zaal Stew (Stobhach Gaelach): A slow-cooked, rich stew traditionally made with lamb or mutton, potatoes, onions, and carrots.

  • Zaalens Coddle: A savory dish of leftover pork sausages, bacon, potatoes, and onions, simmered slowly.

Challenging fare

  • Dull Hands Poiton - Moonshine distilled by the Soup Master herself. Caution 90 Proof Stewpendous is not responsible for injuries or incidents as a result of ingesting the Dull Hands Poiton. [Do a /random to see if you pass the challenge, The threshold for this challenge is 300, then 600, & finally, 850.] Survivors are rewarded with the sweet taste of Rolanberry, Snurbleberry, Pixieberry, and O'ghomoro Berries.

  • Wasabi Slap - This infamous soup was derived as a punishment for a man who threw his soup at another. An otherwise savory soup consisting of Onion, Peas, Cured Boar Shank and triple the recommended amount of Wasabi. Patrons are rewarded with a delicate, yet flavorful broth should they survive the assault on their sense of smell. [Do a /random to see if you pass the challenge. The threshold for this challenge is 500.]

  • Souper Star - 5 soups of your choice served at once, you've 2 Bells to complete all 5 soups. [Do a /random for each soup. The threshold to pass for each is: 100, 250, 400, 650 & 800.]
